“The little things? The little moments? They aren’t little.”
―
During my morning runs I always make point of attempting to be “present” and “mindful” as much as I can. Today, as I was running by a bench that I have passed hundreds of times before, I noticed the most beautiful fungus growing. It literally stopped me in my tracks and I snapped the photo above. Seeing this exquisite “nature art” made me realize that I wasn’t being present until that very moment. But this yellow beauty helped me be mindful for the rest of my run. Here’s your gentle reminder to try and find the little nuggets of beauty in your world every day!
“Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.”
