Today I “paused” for my “mindful moment” as I crossed a bridge during my daily run with my baby, two energetic doggies and husband. I listened to the sounds of the water flowing down the river and cars passing by on the nearby road. I smelled the sweet smell of freshly cut grass. I saw all of the vibrant “greens” and some lovely rocks “stacked” in the river. I tasted the minty sweet gum in my mouth. I felt my doggies pulling the leash in my hand and the warm air saturating my body. I had my “10 seconds of mindfulness” and it was a wonderful thing. This is your friendly reminder to do the same! Take at least 10 seconds to be present and mindful of all of your senses today. And see how good it feels!
